Artist's Comments

This was for Illustration II class. We were assigned to do a greek god/goddess with a specific, pre-determined month, I picked Artemis, the moon huntress, and she was paired with the month of October for the assignment. I had fun with this!

drawn in pencil, inked with micron 005 and 01 pens, and colors added in photoshop

That's awesome! The motion in this picture, like wind sweeping off the mountain, really gets my attention. And the colour scheme works really, really well. Great work!

I always admired Artemis. One of the three unmarried goddesses. I liked her because she protected animals.
